My little boy goes to Dr. Elizabeth Dickey in Irving. She also has a Grapevine office. Clinical pediatric assoc of north texas. She is absolutely wonderful. She is super nice and spends as much time as you need with her. She also has a PA, Stephanie, who is a doll. I never hesitate to call or talk to her nurses and I can get in quickly to be seen. Contact me if you want any more information. I would report your current doctor to the Texas Board of Physicians. There is no reason for you to have to deal with a doc like that when your baby needs compassion!
We use Dr Melvin Joki in South Arlington. He is wonderful and his nurses are great as well. He is a part of the Cook Childrens Netowrk.

R., I am sorry that you have had to go through this. I have a 7 month old son that spits up alot constantly. Our pediatrician, Dr. Johnson in Southlake is great, however, he says that the spitting up is normal, because my son has not lost weight. The spitting up has gotten worse now that he is crawling---he leaves puddles all over the house. I am sorry that I am not more help to you, but I would love to hear your experience with Prevacid. I feel terrible that the baby spits up all the time, but I am so scared to put him on any medication. He is on Isomil Soy Formula now. Good Luck finding a doctor. We love Dr. Johnson ,but I do not think he would be very helpful to you.
