Hi moms,
Do any of you have a wonderful family doctor you see and would recommend? My hubby & I are looking for a general practitioner, maybe even a Christian, who is personable, helpful, and knows his (or her) stuff! They could be in the Colleyville, Hurst, Bedford, Southlake, Keller or even Grapevine area. If you could share a recommendation with us, I would appreciate it so much! Thanks a lot!

What can I do next?

K.,
You might consider Dr. Cody Mihills. He is in the little strip center at the NE corner of Davis Blvd. & Continental, next to Tex-Art Stone. I like him and would have him see the kids too, if we didn't already have a pedi I love. He is a newer dr., and really listens- is very open to your input. Good staff, too. PH. ###-###-####

My husband and I use Dr. Roger Tolar in Keller. He is a wonderful Christian, family man. He has labs and X-ray machine in his office. He seems to know his stuff and recently while my husband was out of a job he saw us for free and gave us samples of meds! Love him and his staff.

Hi -
I cannot offer enough praise to Dr. Cody L. Mihills - Southlake/Colleyville. He is worth his weight in gold.

On time.
Personable.
Offers samples as needed (agrees insurance companies can be a huge pain).
Up to date on services/ideas.

I do hope you will give him a try and let him know H. & Marcus recommended him.

HTH,
H.

My husband and I use Dr. Patel at the Baylor Clinic on 377 in Keller - right across from Spring Creek. I've never had such good experiences. I'm only in the waiting room for no more than 5 minutes, and he is very personable. He remembers me and always asks about my son. I really appreciate that in a dr, and I trust him which has been hard for me to find in a doc. Usually they just rush you in and rush you out, but I don't feel rushed ever with him. Good luck!

My hubby and son go to Dr Song Lee in Colleyville - he's been great for them, would probly take my girls there too, but they want a female doc and we have a local dr right here in Trophy Club.

MD Tim Beste.
I have never had a doctor listen to me until I began seeing him. He's christian, he takes most insurance policies (I have used six different insurances with him over the years), and his staff is very patient and flexible with payments.
His office is a little shabby, but the service more than makes up for it.
He's located over by the Braums Ice Cream on I-35 in Lewisville.

Though he does love to medicate (most MD's do)! If you let him know you have concerns with using too much medication (or those that are not well enough tested for your tastes) he will listen to you and try to find a middle ground.
Just let him know. He's easy to talk to and a great listener.
