I would like to know if anybody organizes a reading group for beginners in Downers Grove, Darien, Woodridge areas or nearby. My kindergartener doesn`t have many friends around here, he would love to meet new friends. Or just a playdate nearby would be great. Thanks.
I live in Romeoville and the library offers great programs. My daughter (2 yrs) and I go to storytime once a week and we also attend a preschool activity time there. It's a great time. You should check out your local library to see what they offer.
I have a 7year old to be (April 11) who is in 1st grade, stepson who visits every weekend. I also have a 19mo old daughter...I do not know of any reading groups or what not, but play dates in the future might be nice...we live in Westmont.
N.- The Downers Grove library has several story hours planned during the week and in the summer, they also have a reading program.
I have a 5 1/2 yo girl and a 8 month old girl- we would love to meet you on days that we are free.

My sister is in Downer's Grove/Darien area, and has a 5 1/2 year old girl in kindergarten at Elizabeth Montgomery grade school. She also has a 3 year old boy and a 6 month old boy. She said there is a reading club at her daughter's school. She is open to a play date also.
