I am looking for a pre k program for my soon to be 4 year old son. I am new to the Keller area and not sure of any pre k programs. I am not looking for a day care and so far that's all I've gotten. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) thanks

So What Happened?

Thank you all for giving me such great information and schools that you like. I found a school that a friend told me to look into in Keller. It's at Keller early learning center and the staff is great it's half day but 5 days a week. My son will be super excited to see his new school! Thank you all for being so kind and sharing your information :) it's greatly appreciated :)

Try White's Chapel in Southlake, Compass in Colleyville and Noah's Arc in Colleyville. They all should have something along the lines of 9-2, three or four days a week. Hope that helps!

My son went to a full day, full week pre-k program at Camp Fire. It uses frog street press curriculum and up until budget cuts at FWISD served as a formal pre-k program that was supported by the district. Nothing has changed except now it is BETTER.
It is connected to an early childhood learning center (infants, toddlers, etc) but you should check it out. There are some incredible things going on there. My friend enrolled her son there just for Pre-k on my recommendation and has so many great things to say (still) about it.
just google camp fire child care and you'll find it. It is on Meacham and 35, but from keller, you never have to hit 35 if you don't want.

We live in Keller and when the school year starts up I plan on using the PreK at the N Richland Hills Rec Center (near Birdville HS). My son went there. The teacher is certified and excellent at her job. It's part time, three days a week for just part of the day (which is what I was looking for). It's definitely a preschool curriculum. My son was more than ready for kindergarten after going through the program. ANd the price can't be beat. I think it's $125 a month right now.

My kids have gone to St. Martin in the Fields Preschool, and we've loved it. It's not fancy, but it's a quality program.
