Hi, everyone has been so helpful in the past, I hope you can help this time.
My family is having a family reunion at Thanksgiving, it is the first time in 3 years that we will all be together. We want to have portraits taken, but have a couple of issues. If any of you can recommend anyone that would be wonderful!
These are the things we are looking for
1. It is a group of 14 total, including 3 kids ages 6, 3, 1. We not only want whole group shots we want lots of break out shots of individual familys.
2. We WANT digitals, not prints. We are a far flung family, we have members in Utah, St. Thomas, Tennesse, and Dallas
3. Our budget is about $500 - $600
4. We need to take them around Thanksgiving, day before/after. But in the morning is the best time for the kids.
Any suggestions would be great. I have send messages to several but have not hear back from many.

I used Jessica Schaack. She is AWSOME. She did my maternity and birth pictures. She actually specializes in bridal and family pics. She is excellent with kids and gets the best shots. I am fairly positive she will be well within your budget. She lives in Dallas now but is from Utah. People actually book her to do photo shoots when she returns home. She really is spectacular.

We have used them for family shots. He doesn't charge extra for people or clothing changes. The first time we used him he came out to our house and used a green screen which was awesome as it was June and hot and we had everyone from 6 months to 72 and we didn't want to have to deal with the heat. The next time we used him it was November and we chose the Botanical Gardens. We had such a blast! I can email you some of the pictures if you would like to see them.
You need to checkout Kellie Huff Photography. She is on facebook. She did our family pictures at Christmas. They turned out really good.
Have you tried to contact Brandi Thompson? I actually hired her to do a small family shoot for me on the 2nd of Sep. She has a webpage and blog, all you need to do is google Brandi Thompson Photography. She got back to really quickly via email. Good luck on finding a photographer!!!

I am a family photographer and can probably fit the entire family in your budget. I focus on CD packages that start at $250 (this includes your session fee + fully edited, high resolution images on disc) for a family of 5. A full disc (around 30 images) is $450. Given the large number of people (and the large variety of group shots you want) I think I could put together a custom package that will fit within your budget. The only thing is I will be traveling right around Thanksgiving. Do you HAVE to do it the day before or after?
