I just found out last week my childrens pediatrician is moving out of town! I have a 2 and 3 year old and we have been seeing her for the last 2 years. I had a bad experience with the first pediatrician I was bringing my oldest child to. My son has special needs and this doctor was so on top of everything. I am afraid I will not be able to find someone as wonderful as her. Anyone have a Pediatrician they can recommend? My children are on Medicaid.
We use Dr. Schwartzenburg with the Pediatric Clinic on Tara Blvd. I've been really pleased with him. I don't have any experience with special needs though. All of the doctors at the clinic seem really good. I'm not sure if the take medicaid but I think they do. Sorry you're going through a rough time right now. Good Luck!
I Use Dr.Greta Wilkes (Primary Care Group) My little girl and my entire family go to Dr. Wilkes. I worked for her office for about 3 years and i have never seen anyone better. She is an awesome doctor!! I would not use anyone else. And she has alot of special needs patients as well.

My kids go to the lake primary care physicians the are many offices around.We live in the Denham Springs area theres one here one on Goodwood they are great pediatricians.

I use Dr. Veronica Thomas on Goodwood Blvd. right across from Women's hospital. She is really good, and if she can't help, she doesn't hesitate to recommend specialists. She does take Medicaid.
