Looking for a No Bake Cookie Recipe
Hi I have been looking for this no bake cookie recipe, and have found some but not the one I'm looking for. I had a gal I went to jr.high with and her mom made these all the time. They have peanut butter, cocoa powder, oats, sugar, and a couple other ingredients. If anyone knows of this or a very similar recipe please let me know!
~~P.S. I already looked on all-recipes.com, and a couple cookie websites.

Hey A.. I got the PERFECT no-bake cookie recipe. My Nana used to make these all the time! She was the best cook, I swear.
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
3 Tablespoons of cocoa
Your going to boil this seperatly but not right now!! First get this together:
3 cups oats
5 Tablespoons of peanut butter (we always use creamy)
1 teaspoon of vanilla (pure is better than imatation)
ok, now boil the top stuff together. It may take 1 minute but I find that I usually boil it for like three or four minutes. You'll have to learn that part yourself. If you cook it too long it tastes horrible. If you don't cook it long enough, they won't stick together. After your done boiling the top, mix it with the bottom. The mix is going to hard and it strains your arm a little. That's how you know your doing it right. Mix it quickly together. Then drop it by the spoonful onto waxed paper. Let it stand until its firm and viola! Perferct no-bake cookies. Good luck and I hope they turn out great!!!
Best Wishes, T.

TRY THIS:
No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
by Pamela Rice Hahn
These candy-like cookies are easy to make and delicious. If you want to indulge in something sinfully sweet but don't have the time to make something fancy, this quick and easy recipe is sure to hit the spot. Plus, there's the added bonus that because you're using your choice of ingredients, you'll be avoiding those nasty preservatives found in store-bought snacks.
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup sugar (I use cane sugar)
1/4 cup milk (I use condensed or whole milk)
dash salt
1 tsp. pure vanilla
1 heaping tablespoon peanut butter (optional: add more to taste and increase the oatmeal)
1 1/2 cups UNCOOKED oatmeal
Microwave the butter in a microwave-safe bowl for 15-30 seconds, until the butter is melted. Add 1/4 cup cocoa and blend until the cocoa is dissolved into the butter.
Add the sugar, milk and salt. Blend well.
Microwave on high for 1 minute 10 seconds to bring to a full boil. (Should you need to microwave the batter some more, do so in 10 second increments.) You want a full boil, but because it will continue to cook for awhile once it's removed from the microwave, heating it too long can cause the mixture to scorch.)
Add the vanilla, peanut butter and oatmeal. Stir well. Drop by tablespoon-full on waxed paper and allow to cool.
Makes 12 cookies.
HOPE THIS IS IT..

Hi, here is a recipe for no bake cookies-
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine
Boil these ingre. for 2 min.
remove from heat. add 1 tsp. vanilla.
add 3 cups quick cooking rolled oats & 1/2 cup peanut butter.
Mix & drop w/ spoon on wax paper. Let stand for a few minutes.
Variations: you can add nuts or coconut if desired. For chocolate cookies add 3 tbsp. cocoa before boiling.
Make sure you boil for exactly 2 min. If it's not long enough they will not harden. If it's to long they will fall apart.
