Looking for a Nanny 1-2 Days a Week!

I currently have a 2 1/2 year old and will have a newborn in Sept. Can anyone recommend a nanny for one or two days a week? I live in Dallas off of 75 and Lovers Lane.

This would be ideal to share with someone who is only using their nanny on a p/t basis.

Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

hey A., i dont know if this helps but there is a parents day out that is hourly. you can drop them off/pick them up when you want. i think they charge $8.50 an hour. it is located in lakewood. its at the corner of mockingbird and skillman. i was actually thinking about taking my daughter occasionally. she is almost 21/2 and she loves playing with other children. if you only need 1-2 days a week, its possible i could also help. i stay at home with my daughter and she would love a playmate. we have a play group on wednesdays if youre interested too! Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) has a job board where you can post a request. The only ppl who have access to the board are seminary students and their wives. (go to DTS.EDU, click on "employment" on the left hand side and then under empolyers you will see a place to click called "DFW employers). Some of the students and many of the spouses are looking for great part time work like being a Nanny. The Seminary is down on Live Oak so it would be close for them too.
Hope this helps.

My nanny is seeking additional hours/days. She is Mexican and speaks some English - "enough" in my opinion but not fluent. She is about 32 years old and extremely loving and soothing (only one who get ever get my younger son to nap, except me!) She has cared for various members of my extended family for three years (my two boys, their cousins and also my husband's grandmother who suffers from advanced Alzheimers). She lives east of 75 where Plano and Murphy meet, I think it's off Park or 15 st. She has a 7 yr old who will be back in school again in August, and a three-month old baby. She is looking for nanny work, part time, where she can bring her three-month old. I pay her $10/hour. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks, K.

I don't know anyone to recommend, but if you find someone who would also be willing to come to Rowlett, I might be interested in sharing someone with you. I have an 11 week old girl who is too young for most mothers day outs but I would like to have someone 1 or 2 days/week so I can do some part-time work.

I am currently looking for PT nanny because I am going back to work in the next few weeks. Are you looking for someone just to help out around the house or will you be working outside the home? I guess the real question I am asking should be, are there certain days you will be needing someone or are those days flexible?
