Looking for a Good Vet

We moved here from Ohio and I was shocked at the fees for vets here. Anyway, we go up to Hooves and Paws in Helotes, on Bandera Rd. I really like the lady vet there, and their prices weren't quite as high as right here in San Antonio. I also live right at the 1604 and Bandera area, and Hooves and Paws is just up Bandera right past the scenic drive turnoff.

We too got the kids a puppy for thier birthdays. We take him (and all of our animals) to Hill Country Animal Hospital which is in your neck of the woods (15 min drive for us). They're right on Bandera right outside the 1604 loop, on the way to Helotes. I looked them up online and they got rave reviews from everyone who has taken their pet to see the Dr's there. I have only been there for a few appointments but already can see what everyone is talking about...these people are great!

I love my vet at Turtle Creek Animal Hospital. It is actualy on Wurzbach between I-10 and Fredericksburg Road. Dr. L is not good with humans, but he is great with animals. My family and I have been taking our pets there since the late 70's, when we lived just down the street. His father was the vet there then. I have always loved the service and the attention they give the animals.
