Looking for a Good Place to Board Dogs
We are going for a long weekend and need a place for our dogs. We have never boarded them. We have 3 boxers and want them to be able to stay in one large cage. Does anyone have any suggestions of a great place. I also would want them to be let out more than 3 times a day.

Hi D.:
You should call Kelly Margalus of Kelly's Waggin' Wheels. She lives in the Plainfield area and has a mobile grooming service. If she does not offer boarding, she would be able to tell you exactly who to call. Please tell her J. Porter referred her. Her number is ###-###-#### and her e-mail address is ____@____.com
Good luck!
Kind regards,
J.

I own All For Dogs(http://www.allfordogs.us), a personalized dog services company in the Romeoville area. If you need a pet sitter, I'd be happy to help out.
You might want to check out Aunt Colleen's Doghouse and Playground or the PetsHotel in Aurora. (We're opening a doggie daycare and retreat center in Crest Hill in the next 6 months.)

Go to this website springbrookboxers.homestead.com We are boarding 2 Min Pins and 1 Dobe, I visited the kennel and it looks great, this will be our first time there. It's not far from where you used to live in Manhattan !!!

We have a Boxer and a Mastiff, when we go away a service called Critter Sitters comes to our house 3 times a day for about 45 minutes each time. I don't know if they go to Plainfield or not. But it is $12 per visit, so it is cheaper the boarding. It works out great, they will take care of your mail, plants, garbage lights on/off.
I'm sure there is a service like that in your area. But for us with the 2 dogs being 280lbs total it is hard to find a place for them and this way they are in there own enviornment....
