I go to First Baptist Plano. It is a medium size church and very friendly. We have also started a MOPS program, Mothers of Preschoolers. It is a great time to get together with other mothers and do fun things together. We either have a speaker come in, talking about the area or about the family, etc. and we also have crafts every other meeting. The childcare program is excellent. Most MOPS programs are much more expensive than ours, but we are able to charge less because the daycare is not charging to take care of our kids. ($30 a semester) I think they also have help is you can't afford that. Also, you don't have to be a member of this church to go. Its open to everyone.

My family and I moved to North Dallas in December and have been looking for a church to belong to since moving here. We also wanted to belong to a church where we could be involved in the community as well as connect with other members. Covenant has many opportunities for you to be involved in the community as well. Their children's ministry staff is the best and as one person stated well you will meet people through a Life Team. For more information about Covenant check out the web site at www.covenantchurch.org
We are so thankful to the Holy Spirit for leading us there. I pray that you go to the Church that the Holy Spirit leads you to.

Hi S.,
I go to Fellowship Church off of Hwy 121 just north of the airport. It is a wonderfull, LARGE, christian church and has something to offer for everyone in your family. There are 4 weekly services. 2 on Saturday night at 5:00 and 6:30 and two on Sunday morning at 10:00 and 11:30 am. The music is AWSOME if you like Contemporary Christian, it's like going to a concert every Sunday. Dress is whatever you feel comfortable in, some wear jeans, others dress up. Go to www.fellowshipchurch.com to learn more.
May God bless you and your family, and I hope to see you there!

I just moved here and attend Fellowship Church. There are also 3 other campuses in the area. I attend the one in Downtown. It's off of Ross Avenue. Half of the facility is designated for children. They have play/learning time in their classrooms and then meet with a larger group of their age kids for music and a Bible Study movie. Then they go back to their class to talk about what they learned. It is a great way to reinforce what they are learning and why. I love it. If you visit, I'd love to meet you. My name is J. Sandefer.

Hi,
I love Bent Tree Bible Fellowship church in Carrollton. It is awesome in every way. All of the ministies are very involved in the families and the community. I loved it but after commuting from Grapevine 4 times a week for almost five years I have decided to attend church here in Southlake. Mostly so my kids can be involved in Youth in our area and know kids in our area. My cousin goes to Prestonwood right across from BTBF and she loves it there. It is more conservative. Just depends on what you like. Good Luck..D.

Covenant Church in Carrollton, TX. Located at Trinity Mills and Marsh is an awesome non-denomenational church. Great place for worship and they do have Life Team's, for members to be involved in.
Good luck and let God lead your heart.

S.,
I go to First Baptist Carrollton and am really enjoying it. The people are real. It is big enough but not too big. We have a really great MOPS group (Mother's of Preschoolers) that begins this month. It is a good group of moms...we usually also schedule a playdate once a month. I am also in charge of the women's Bible study and we have quite a few to choose from. You can take a look at www.fbcc.org and look under the women's ministry tab.
