Looking for a Dentist - Chicago, IL
I am looking for a dentist for my husband and I. Does anyone have any recommendations? We live in the South Loop, so something in the city is best. Also, I've heard of some dentists that use a laser to fill cavities, does anyone know where that is used? I haven't been in SO long that I know I'm in trouble! Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Melissa - I go to Dr. Sanford Barr in the city and I believe he does use the laser technique to fill cavities. My husband who is really bad with pain, needles, etc. had to get a filling and said it was almost pleasant!

I went to Michael Marcus and loved him, although I don't know about the laser use...

I LOVE my dentist. Dr. Paul Katz at the One Illinois Center Dental. (southeast corner of Michigan and Wacker.) I like him so much that I even go to him and he is not in my insurance plan. We go to the dental salon on North ave and sheffield. The office is beutiful, and the staff is great. They have late hours, which is why we went there. Check out the website. i think its dentalsalon.com
