Looking for a Cheap Place to Hold for a Graduation Party

My mom is graduating from college in March. I am looking for a place to have my mom's graduation party. Money is tight so nothing over $100.00. Any ideas would be great! Thanks in advance!

P.S. We thought about my parent's house and my dad said any party is a party not here. And everyone else's homes aren't big enough to hold 30+ people.

What can I do next?

I don't know how many people or if you are planning on a lot of food. The Johnson County Library has great rooms, especially the one on 87th street. They will let you have finger foods, and they have a sound system. They are cheap, sometimes free!

Try your local park. Sometimes they have a community building that you can rent.

Why do you need to go somewhere? Have it at home, yours or hers. Nothing fancy, just an open house type thing. Use the $100 for snacks.

You might check out local community centers. I rented one in our area, and I think it was only around $100, but it was awhile ago, so I can't remember exactly how much it was. Good luck!
