Laser Vision Correction

Do NOT go to Dr. Carter. My husband and I went to him and we had a very bad experience. Our eyes are fine and we are glad that we did it but he runs his office like a factory and he is not personable whatsoever. In fact my husband had a very bad reaction to the numbing drops they used (since he is allergic to lanacane)and Dr. Carter never explained what they would be using and how the procedure would be performed.

I've heard Dr. Whitman is good and my friend went to see Dr. Tylock.

I had a GREAT experience (and my vision is PERFECT) with Lasik Plus Vision Center 2108 Dallas Pkwy # 206, Plano, TX‎ - ###-###-####‎. The doctors and staff are amazing and I felt really comfortable, even during a somewhat scary (who wouldn't feel nervous having their eyes worked on?) event. Walked out of there with uncomfortable eyes (it feels like someone kicked sand in your eyes); woke up the next day with PERFECT vision!!

I used Dr. Boothe in Plano.. He did my surgery in Jan and I couldn't be happier.. Good luck!! You'll love not wearing contacts!!

Tylock or Boothe - I went to Boothe - he did a great job, but he's not a very nice man. My cousin went to Tylock - he also did a great job, and is super nice.

My husband had his done at the Carter Eye Center. He had a great experience!

I went to Dr. Boothe, so did my husband, and it was great!
Also, I saw the other post...Dr. Boothe was VERY nice to me...you have to get to know him a little, but he was great to me, very funny sense of humor, and I liked him very much.

Dr. Jeffrey Whitman of Key-Whitman -- he is fabulous!!!! I had my eyes done in 1995 and it was the BEST thing I have ever done for myself!

My husband went to Dr. Tylock, and we loved him. He does the intralase, which is the blade-free surgery. My husband now has better than 20/20 vision, and has had no problems at all. I would definitely recommend him. Hopefully I'll be getting it done soon too. Good luck!

I really liked Key-Whitman. I had lasik done last summer, and it was a great experience. They provide very personal service. I've heard some of the others move you through like cattle and make you feel like a number. That was not the case at all with Key-Whitman. Plus, as long as you go back to them once a year for a regular eye exam, they provide a lifetime guarantee for your lasik.
If you go, be sure and go to their informational seminar. Not only does it provide good info and let you get better prepared for your procedure, but they do a drawing for one eye done for free. I won that drawing, so I had mine done at half price!
