JFF - Your Favorite Frozen Treat

I am sitting here eating my third frozen-thing-on-a-stick of the day. My new favorite, and what I'm currently eating, is a mint Magnum bar. Its crazy-good. I hide them in the very back corners of the freezer so my kids and hubby don't find them. Also, the name seems vaguely dirty to me, makes me think of condoms, (am I the only one?) and makes me giggle.

So, what is your favorite treat to beat the heat?

ETA--I love Otter Pops too, or at least I did the last time I had one, twenty years ago. I wonder if they are still the same as whe pn I was a kid. And I also love banana popcicles, and rootbeer one too, but mostly we get the Dryer's whole fruit bars, which are awesome, love the pineapple and the peach.

What can I do next?

we had a cookout this past weekend, and i had a rare moment of brilliance. i had a lot of perfectly ripe bananas and strawberries hanging around, so persuaded my son's GF (who is a sweet genius) to melt some really good chocolate with butter and a little cream. i didn't have popsicle sticks so she stuck straws cut in half in the bananas (also cut in half), dipped them and the strawberries, then froze them.
OMG.
my son demurs, saying they're too 'freezy.' but i can't leave them alone.

When I am being good, I freeze yogurt, fruit, flax, and chia seeds into homemade power popsicles. SUper high nutrition and really cool, refreshing, tasty.

When I am being bad - yesterday I had a Snickers Ice Cream. yummmm
also love a good frozen rum drink or margarita

My FAVORITE frozen treat is the Twix ice cream bar. They sold them during the summer where I used to work, and I got addicted.

I also LOVE to fix hot chocolate, and pop it in the freezer. (I have to freeze it hot... for some reason, it tastes different if you prepare it cold and try to freeze it.) I stir it every so often, until it's to a perfect slushie consistency, then I eat up!

I also feel slightly racy eating the Magnum bars... Hubby and I always giggle a bit when I want to buy them, because they ARE pretty darn good! Especially the ones with caramel in them... Mmmmm.... :)

Haha, that's pretty funny.

Yesterday I froze 1/2 a peeled banana, after first spreading some Nutella on it. I was just curious about it, but it was REALLY great! Frozen food epiphany!

Im a dilly bar fan, believe I get the coating all OVER my face just like the kids, the only thing is I do it alone and in the dark as not to get caught red, yellow, or chocolate faced which ever is my choice of poison that night

I like banana popsicles.

ETA: I must confess... while I have seen on this site the name Otter Pops, other than assuming they are some sort of frozen treat, I have NO idea what they are. Are they regional? I've never seen them in the stores around here...

ok... so I googled it. We have similar products, but not that particular brand. I love those things though (the ones we DO have around here). I just picked up some Hawaiian punch ones and Jolly Rancher Green apple and watermelon ones this week!

LOL, when I first heard of Magnum ice cream bars I joked with my husband that they must have a magnum condom in the center! I crave shaved ice in the summer, I wish it were cheaper! It has to be real shaved ice, not crushed. I like it with banana, coconut, or cake flavored syrup on it and condenced milk on top too. SOOO good!

Our favorite family frozen treat - purple cows. Put one or two scoops of good vanilla ice cream in a tall glass. Fill half the glass with grape juice. Top it off with ginger ale.

My favorite frozen treat, not for the kiddos - blended frozen lemonade with a shot of vodka.

Favorite frozen fruit on a stick - Dreyer's coconut.
