wish I were still a size 8...
anyway, I found that very few places have high waisted jeans and I bet since you are my age that is what you want. I found JCPenney's has a good selection.

I have jeans from all over, and not one of them fits just right. However, I saw on the Today Show, a segment about the perfect fit jeans. They said jeans from New York & Co. were rated the best for fit. They are not mom jeans that come up to your belly button, but aren't the low rise that show your crack every time you bend over. They have some stretch and look good on the hiney:) I have yet to get to a NY&C since I don't have one all that close. I plan to check it out, though!! Good Luck!

Hi,
I'm not sure if you are still looking for jeans but I work for a company that is nationwide and I love it!! We sell authentic designer jeans and market them through in home parties. We are in 30 different states and we are in Chicago and Makanda IL. Lots of room for growth!! If you get 8 different people that are interested in your area then you could be a regional coordinator and have inventory for your consultants to use. You make 18-24% commission plus 4% commission off your inventory when it exceeds 4,000/mo in sales. The company is www.vaultdenim.com My supervisor does conference calls weekly. Let me know if you are interested and I can get you more information!!

If you host a party you receive 10% of the total sales towards jeans of your own. Many times that means FREE!!

Take Care

Actually, I'm a thrifty shopper. I usually (when not pregnant) buy Levi's from Kohl's. They run between $20-$40, depending on the sale.

you're tall so you can definitely go for rock and republic. i get mine at off saks outlet when they have a 40 per cent off coupon so they cost me less than a 100. otherwise for comfy and still sexy jeans i get them at abercrombie. i know the stigma about abercrombie but their emma jeans have a bit of stretch in them and they come in short, reg, and long, and from time to time they go on sale for 40 bucks from 80.

I'm a Levi's girl myself. Under $40 every day. I wear a size 8. I'm 42 but only about 5'7". LOVE them.

Hello,
I just bought Style & Co. jeans by Macy's b/c I had my daughter 4 months ago and don't fit into my designer jeans yet. They have a "tummy support" that is not obvious, are really inexpensive (especially if you use a coupon), and look great in dark denim. I'm also a size 8, 5'8" and bought mine in long. They are actually too long to wear with flats so I also bought a pair of regular for flats as well. Hope this helps.

I'm 40 and 5'10" and love, love, love the gap. I've tried expensive designer jeans, but I always come back to the gap. The long and leans are great, and if you get ones with some stretch, you can usually go a size smaller than normal (they stretch out perfectly). Good luck.

I am a bit taller than you are (6'0") and I'm between a size 8-10 with an inseam around 36", so I would imagine you have the same jeans length issues I do! I've had luck with Banana Republic (they have the long lengths online, but you can try on the jeans in regular lengths in the store to get an idea of the fit). Also, if there is a Nordstrom near you, go there. They have tons of long jeans there - in fact, the last time I went to buy jeans it took me about 2 hours because I was like a kid in a candy store. I have never before been anywhere where ALL the jeans were long enough, and I felt like I had to try them all on! Anyhow, I ended up with a pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans that I LOVE - the fabric is perfectly worn-in to start (with a pair of Joe's Jeans coming in a close second). I spent a bit more than $100 but they have been such fabulous jeans that I think it was worth it.

I hope that helps, and have fun shopping!

E.,
You NEED to go to Steinmart. There are several locations. One is in St. Charles on North Ave, and the other one I know is on 59 in Naperville/aurora.
