Is It Ok to Put Two Thank You Cards in One Envelope?

My children have birthdays about a month apart. Last night as I was finishing up the last of the thank you cards with my son for his party, I realized that the thank you cards for my daughter's party were never mailed. Ugghhh, I thought I was so on top of it. We did those the day after her party! Would it be ok to put both cards in the same envelope? Most are going to close family. It's bad enough I goofed on the cards for my daughter, I don't want to be considered incredibly tacky on top of it all! TIA!

What can I do next?

I would suggest sending them together. You're part of a rare breed that still sends thank you cards! (And I appreciate that because I do too!)

Well... I have done that with family. I wouldn't do it with anyone BUT family. But that's just me...

I think it's absolutely fine. I wouldn't find it tacky at all. Just make sure you take it to the post office to make sure you get the correct postage so they don't come back with insufficient postage!

I would find it incredibly tacky. Plus you would have to make sure that the postage is sufficient to cover the envelope carrying both anyway, since an extra card in the envelope would make it heavier.

I would send them separately.

We did this all the time; my kids' birthdays are 13 days apart!! Even when we didn't do a combination party I still just waited and they would each write their own thank you notes and I would put them both in the same envelope. No one ever complained. In this day and age I think people love getting the notes and probably don't care that they both came in the same envelope.

Good luck!!

I do it all the time. I have each girl write their own thank you and then mail them in the same envelope.

I wouldn't think anything of it. Totally fine! Stamps are expensive!

I don't think there's any problem with it. If you're still embarrassed, you can add a funny note about Mama's non-mailing goof! (Of course, it depends on the family you're sending the notes to. If you know *that* mama would consider it tacky, then of course you send them separately.)

Just send them together. Everyone will just think you're awesomely frugal because postage is so expensive:)
