Inexpensive Patio Furniture

Maybe Craigslist? Go cheap= get cheap.

Buy 1 good quality set and never have to buy again vs buying cheap every other year.

We bought Lyon Shaw over 12 yrs ago. Very expensive, still looks new. Wrought iron. We've replaced cushions once, they never stay out in the weather, and we repainted once.

You get what you pay for.

big lots has some good stuff

We bought an unfinished, all wood picnic table from Lowes or Home Depot or something. Cost $100. We stained it - I don't know how much a gallon of stain costs though - and my husband drilled a hole in the middle the perfect size to accomodate an umbrella, which was $25 at Walmart.

I love it more than any tables and chairs you can buy. It's durable, low maintenance - and you just hose it down every few days - and you only have to sand it and restain it every couple years - an easy task - I just did it myself in a couple hours.

My parents had a picnic table when I was growing up, so I guess it brings out the nostalgia in me :)

Target. Got a large table, chairs and umbrella for right around $300. Looks nice and so far we're happy with quality. Was much cheaper than I've seen at Home Depot or other patio furniture stores.

Here's what I put together for our back deck:

Large,round black metal mesh patio table from Lowes. Seats 6.

Beige resin chairs from Target, on sale, the larger sized ones were about $6 each but the smaller ones were on sale for under $5 each.

Large umbrella and granite base from Costco.

2 beige resin adirondack lounge chairs from Walmart with a little black mesh side table from Lowes, to match the large round one.

This is peak season so prices will be at their peak. Check craigslist for something to get you buy until you can buy a really nice set AFTER summer when they all go on clearance. Good luck.

I would look at Aldi. I have seen patio furniture on sale there before and it is usually very inexpensive. Good luck.

I was at Home Depot yesterday...they have the inexpensive plastic chairs and ottomans.

Have you checked craigslist?

I saw what you might be looking for at Costco. Sadly, I don't see it on their website, just in the store. You can buy the chairs individually, unlike many sets which come with four chairs. They were very reasonable/low in cost.
