Indoor Pools

Northeastern School District does still have "family" swim time in the evenings, as well as classes, etc. However, all of the pool activities are being "managed" by the Bob Hoffman YMCA in Dover, I believe. So you would need to contact them about prices, times, etc. Good luck.

there is the JCC over by York Suburban High.
the YWCA in the 300 block of East market street in downtown york and you could try the Holiday in by the West Manchester Mall.
I am not sure if there is membership requirements or swimming lessions that you would have to sign up for. but there are worth the try and they might refer you to another location.
I myself just wait until summer time and joined the closest outdoor location.

There are several indoor pools in York area. Both the YMCA and the YWCA have pools. I know people that use both. I have not compared costs. I am sure you can google the Y's +York, PA and find the hours and prices. The school districts also have pools. York City had evening pool hours when we lived in the city and my friends went to Northeastern school district's pool one or two evenings a week, but when I looked online for info on the school pool, I could not find anything for you. Not sure if they still have open swims at that district.

Hi H., Did you check the YWCA in York? Also, I lived in Dover for 5+ years. and I know that that the Dover Intermediate School has an indoor pool. It used to be open to the public on Sat. You would have to check with the Dover Area School District, as to whether they still are open to the public and what the times would be. Also the Dover YMCA has and indoor pool. If you join the Y you get in for free or a small fee, if you don't have a membership I'm pretty sure you can use it for a fee. The Y in York is in the process of building a huge new indoor pool etc. but i'm not sure when the finish date is.

I know the YWCA has a pool with open swim and it's a decent pool. Also, the YMCA has one but I am not familiar with it.

You should check out Universal Gym in Lancaster, they have great indoor pool. THis Y in Lancaster also has a nice pool. There is a new pool/waterpark at the Howard Johnsons on route 30, I've never been there. I believe the Eden Resort just off of 30 allows you to use the pool at a minimal cost. Hope these help.
