I have a 3 yr. old daughter that I would like to place in Dance, Gymnastices, or some kind of sports. The problem is I work Monday - friday (9am-6pm) and Saturdays (9am-3pm) I do have Thursdays off and I can get a family member to take her on the weekends if needed. Does anyone have any suggestions on any good places to go. And that can help with my crazy schedule.

Try The Little Gym, you can find info on-line. My son is 27 months old and started when he was 6 months old. They have a very flexible class schedule and it's also a great place to meet other moms. The coaches are great, it's affordable and lots of fun.

If she's in daycare while you work, they might have certain places that would pick them up from school or daycare and it could all take place while you work? I would at least ask. There are all sorts of programs out there for evenings and weekends. Look them up in the phone book and ask for their schedules. YMCA and the like also offer programs.

Hi K.,

I work part time at L.A.Performing Arts in Stone Oak. We do have a ballet/jazz combo class for 3-5 year olds on Thursdays at 9:30. Right now, the class in gearing up for the recital at the end of May then classes will resume in the fall. Over the summer, there are week long Princess Ballerina Camps; however that might be too hard to fit in your schedule. The teacher's name is Gina. She is very energetic and as sweet as can be. All the class scheduling and information can be found at laperformingarts.com.

Good Luck,
J.
