Any referrals for carpet? I have been to three stores and just overwelmed with what they had. I need about 1500 sg feet. Any suggestions?

I used Flooring America in Denton about a year ago and have only good things to say. We had flood but ended up replacing all of the carpet to match and they gave us a good deal. It was one that wasn't on the floor because they only had so much of it in the back but it was just enough and better priced than what was on the floor. Good luck.

I sense your frustration! When we started looking at various stores, we were overwhelmed with the costs, etc. We looked at over 10 stores and warehouses.
A friend gave us a personal referrral for Carpet Direct. They came to our house with samples. The quality is awesome and their prices were 1/2 of what we saw in the stores(and better quality.)
We have used Carpet Direct to refloor 1/2 our house with tile.Our floor is beautiful!!! We have used them again to recarpet the other 1/2 of the house. Again, we chose great quality at 1/2 the price.

We have bought some great carpet at Surplus Warehouse (they have several locations in the metroplex).
I suggest Peek's Carpets. THey have several locations -- the two I recommend are: Royal/Abrams in Dallas -- Ask for Susan. or the McKinney/Frisco location - ask for Bob. They are great and will really spend the time with you figuring out what you want/need.... Tell them E. with Cornerstone Chem-Dry referred you and they will take super care of you!

I just used Flooring Concepts in Garland. They also offer a shop at home service. I dealt with Abraham and he is wonderful! He also did the tile in a bathroom, granite in my kitchen and tile backsplash.
