A local radio show, once a month, has a medium guest speaker who is very accurate and very well known. I have been trying to get through for MONTHS…well today I tried AGAIN, the line was continually busy….so I told my mom..ok mom help me get through. Instead of a busy signal I hear a ring and a lady answers and asks me my name and age puts me on hold and already im crying because im so happy to get a chance to talk to this medium who can channel my mom (who has passed 18 years ago this month). I’m on hold, on hold, ON HOLD….trying to contain myself and making every effort not to cry…well the show ended and they ran out of time for me. I’m so bummed :-(

I know my mom is here in spirit and will always be with me. I know she will show me in little ways but im the type of person you have to hit over the head with reality for me to see it…UGH . Well I’ll try again next month but how many of you out there have had experiences with a medium and what were they able to tell you that no one else could possibly know about your loved one?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

To edit: I have been to psychic's in the past and they are either too general or not going in the direction I want them too. They are more prone to tell you about you and not someone who has passed.

Im sorry, no it wasnt Rebecca but a guy named Partrick and his sister. The sister isnt typically the speaker. Patrick charges off air $300-600 a call ..way too expensive for me

There is a local medium a friend of mine has used, so maybe I will try her OR unless Reverand ruby replies :-)

My mama passed 9 yrs ago and until now it would if freaked me out but I would live to go to a medium. I have never been. I see little things out of the corner of my eyes all the time and my sister said if I could just open up I could talk to them myself. Yikes!! Reverend ruby, where are you! !! :)

No one can predict the future or conjure the dead. It's the biggest most money making info-mercial out there. Bad people prey upon our weaknesses in order to make cash. It's a scam, always has been and always will be. One of my favorite aunts just passed away yesterday morning. I had a vivid dream of her just the night before. I had prayed extra hard that night for strength for my cousins that were losing their mom and for my mom who was losing her sister from this planet. Prayer IS THE MEDIUM. In my dream I sat in the attic with my aunt, she was beautiful like she was when I was a young girl. We were discussing her tea cup collection (I dont even think she had one, I've never seen it if she did), the visit with her was awesome. When I woke up suddenly from the dream (because I started talking to her out loud and my husband answered me and made me wake up, darnit), I said a quick thank you to God for allowing such a wonderful visit with my auntie.

Isaiah 8:19
And when they say to you, “Inquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter,” should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living?

I'm sorry for the loss of your mom!!

I've not used a medium....I usually sit in a low-light area that is quiet and just let things happen....

You might try a psychic - they may be able to help you. However, do NOT give anyone answers...that's the problem is some of them are fakes and ask questions and the person starts rambling on and on and gives the "medium" information and they feed off that...

GOOD LUCK!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom :(

Keep trying; good things happen to those who wait! :)

I have not used a medium, but ask Reverand Ruby... she's sensitive :)

I believe I'm sensitive to an extent... but I can not read the living to get through to the dead. The deceased just sometimes talk to me and catch my attention.

Maybe ask your mom if it's possible for her to visit you in a dream... after my Uncle Brian passed away (he was also my godfather), he came to me in a dream... towards the end I was SO upset, didn't want to wake up, but he literally smiled and pinched me in the dream (something he totally would have done in life) to wake me up ;)

My step MIL has had recurring orb experience in her house ever since her father passed away. He's still around in a slightly physical sense. It calms her a lot (although she'd never tell anyone about this, she was a skeptic until this started happening).

You already know your mom is still with you, and she will continue to live on through your memories and through your heart :)

you must know that "mediums" are nothing but liars and fakers taking advantage of people, right??? when you die your soul moves on, there is no way for anyone to "communicate with the dead". I am so terribly sorry for your loss and I know it must be so hard without your mom, I dont know how i'll make it when my mom passes. But please realize that no matter who you talk to, no matter if you get through next time, no one is "channeling" your mom, they are just some very mean spirited people taking advantage of your grief. "meduims", "psychics" just other words for liars and fakers, there is no such thing.
if you want to feel close to your mom, look at pictures, read old letters, cook her recipes etc.

Was it Rebecca Rosen?? She is on a local radio show in my town and I have listened to some of her conversations with callers. It is very intriguing. I think our loved ones that have passed are all around us, all the time. We just have to find ways to be more observant, relax our minds, and speak to them so they can reveal themselves to us.
Perhaps you could call the radio station and tell them that you had gotten through, but they ran out of time. Maybe they will let you be the first caller next month since you actually did get through?? Worth a shot.

I have not, but I would love to! I am a sensitive and have always kept in touch with my "lost" loved ones. I turned it down during my pregnancy last year, though, because I didn't want to affect my baby with all the stuff that I pick up. Now, I'm easing the volume back up, and I would LOVE for someone to walk with me. Good luck to you. I'm so glad that you still have your mother with you.

ETA: Don't be discouraged by the people who tell you not to try to communicate with your loved ones who have left their bodies. No one can tell you what YOUR earthly experience should be. You have to figure it out, and you have your whole life to do it. I believed certain things very strictly as I was growing up, and they were perfect for the times, but my experience was always a different one. I was always sensitive and could "see" and "hear" things that were not apparent to others. In my relationships with people, I would respond aloud to their conscious and subconscious thoughts because I heard them just as if they had spoken them from their mouths. Once I figured out the difference (since it all kinda ran together for me), I figured out that it did not fall directly in line with what I had been taught. My beliefs evolve as I evolve in this experience. That doesn't make me bad or evil. It just means that things aren't always as cut and dry as we would sometimes prefer, according to the standards that have been shown to us. Some people who require the strictness will try to push that requirement off onto your life, because they believe that there is only one way to do this thing FOR EVERYBODY. My point is as I stated earlier--No one can dictate to you what your experience is, will be, or should be. Even prayer is not the exact same thing for all people. Do what you need to do to become and remain more spiritually connected. If you have difficulty--for whatever reason--tapping into it alone, find someone whom you can trust to walk with you. Be wise, and be safe. Take good care.

Ouch!

I am so sorry. There is nothing more painful than getting right up to the front door of something and then finding it locked. Wanting to somehow get in touch with your mom, wherever her soul might be, is really touching.

Does this medium have a website? I'd try that.

Good luck!

E.
