I Am Not Sure What the Abbrevations Mean.

I am SO glad you asked that question. I have been at this site for a long time and always wondered the same thing. Can't wait to read the answers.

I am not sure if i am correct because i never use these because i am a bit confused too but I thin"DD" means Dear Daughter. And "DH" Is Dear Husband. Maybe "DS" Dear Sister. Not real sure but thats what pops in my mind if you find out what they are let me know too please i am lost too

I cant even read the posts because half of its abbrevated. I am really clueless as to what they are talking about.

LO = Little One
BTW = By the way
TIA = Thanks in advance
IDK = I don't know

MIL = Mother In Law
FIL = Father In Law
SIL = Sister in Law
BIL = Brother In Law

I don't have anything to add, but just wanted to thank you for asking it! It drives me nuts to see all these posts with the abreviations!!!! I wish that people would just say what they mean and mean what they say!!!

SS-Step-son
SD-Step-daughter
SO-Significant other

They refer to family members with the word Darling in front.

DD= Darling Daughter
DS= Darling Son
DH= Darling Husband
