Hello! I was wondering if anyone has dealt with bad diaper rashes. My son is almost 8 mos old, and he has never had a diaper rash until just a couple of weeks ago. It was so bad that it looked like his skin was rubbed raw, & it would bleed every time we took his diaper off. After much care, recommended by the pediatrician, it went away, but now he has it again. I am just worried that it might be an allergic reaction to something. I have never seen a diaper rash this bad. I don't know if I should get a second opinion or not. Any suggestions or advice would be helpful. Thanks!

I just had the same problem last week. I used Boudreaux's butt paste and and it cleared it within 24 hours. Everything else failed . It is a little pricey but worth the baby's comfort. His sounds exactly like what my little one had but he is 5 weeks old. Good Luck

Triple Paste works great. keep a journal of what he eats throughout the day to try and narrow down any food allergy, if you can't find a trend then he might just have sensitive skin in which case you'll have to keep him dry and apply triple paste with each changing. Sounds like an allergy though.

I recently had a horrible yeast infection rash which I think is either the same or similar to diaper rash. I used ZeasorbAF powder. It took 3 days for the rash to disappear.

I thought about it. I had been taking an overnight train. I was a little sweaty during the trip. I had been wearing mostly synthetic materials.

Use only cotton diapers. Change all lotions, soaps that you are using. Also, I an prone to yeast which flares up when I eat products containing yeast. You may want to try changing what you feed your child. If the child is in a warm, moist environment, change the environment to cooler and dry.

In the past, I went to dermatologists for this, but it did not help. My internist gave me pills to counter the yeast.

Hope this helps.

Hey B.,

I would love to send you a sample of our baby line. I am an Independent Consultant with Arbonne International. The diaper rash cream and baby body products are AWESOME. I have two older children now and I used these products on the still for rashes and such. My youngest had trouble with rashes that were horrible like that and I figured out it was a different food that I was giving to her and too much juice. I changed her diet and watered down her juice to almost water. Also maybe he is alergic to somehting in the diaper. You may be able to find a diaper at whole foods or something like that with out the chemical ingredients. Anyway I hope this help and good luck. Just drop me a line if you would like a sample. If you live in Langhorne I could actually drop off a basket of stuff to try for a couple days!!! Take care, D.
