Home Pregnancy Test, Valid or Not

I have reason to think I might be pregnant so I went out and bought a test. I've never used one before so I read all directions. However when I took it out of package to use blue not pregnant sign was very visible. Since I hadn't used it yet I am wondering if that's normal and is test still valid?

What can I do next?

Welcome to mamapedia, A.!!

I would call the 800# on the box and ask them.

Or you can take it as is to your pharmacist and have them check it out.

The most concentrated sample is in the morning. So when you do pee on the stick, do it FIRST THING in the morning...

What everyone else has said, call the 800 number on the box and use your first urine of the day.

When you DO use it, test your first morning urine.

FYI: You are much more likely to get a false negative with a home pregnancy test than a false positive. If you have enough of the hormone in your urine that turns the test positive, you are pregnant for sure!
