Hi Any Mom Breastfeeding a 1 Year Old Baby?( I Am in Aventura FL)

Well, my baby is not 1 year old yet, but she's 8 months already. I know what you're going through...let me know if you want to chat. I know what you mean about needing to talk the same "language"!

I breastfed my daughter until she was 19 months old and I was 5 months pregnant with my son and I am currently breastfeeding my son, 6 months...I am sure I have fresh experiences and stories to share:)

Hello Fellow Breastfeeding Mom,

There doesn't seem to be many of us out there anymore. I breastfed my daughter until 18 months and i am currently breastfeeding my son. He is 9 1/2 months old.

I live in Downtown Miami, not that close to you lol I am currently bf my 18 month old and pumping while at work. He for the longest was waking up about 5 times a night, it has slowed down. Now he wakes up about twice but we cosleep so it makes it easier. I latch him on and let him nurse while I sleep.

I lead an attachment parenting support group in Hollywood, fl. Most or our members nurse beyond a year. So, most of us would speak your language:)

We have a yahoo group for online discussions. On occasion, playgroups and other activities are posted. Mostly, the group provides online support.
This Friday there is a group meeting in Hollywood near the intercoastal. Not in your backyard but not too far either. Join our yahoo group and come hang out with us. send an email to ____@____.com.

I think we have talked before. I'm the mom who has a fitness stroller class. Anyway, my son just turned a year old and I'm beastfeeding but actually, I'm frustrated because he won't sleep through the night and wants to nurse sometimes up to 4 times a night! I'm exauhsted!
