Have you heard about the films that the late Andrew Breitbart was putting together about Obama? Apparently, Hannity will be playing some or all tonight on his show. I am honestly not a big Hannity fan but I do plan to dvr the show and watch it when my husband gets home. Are there any other independent thinkers out there who also plan to watch the show?

ETA:
Independent describes someone that is free from the influence or control of another. Objective. Open minded.
Not a Kool-aid drinker.

So What Happened?

I didn't intend to ruffle anyone's feathers. After all, this was a question for people who were planning to watch the show. I am glad I was able to make some people aware that it was on tonight. ; )

Thanks ladies! Have a great night!

I can not watch Fox News and expect to get accurate information.

So no. I wont be watching it.

It is not a matter of being an independent thinker.

I am a Thinker and that is why I can not watch it.

I do not know all the story behind the Breitbart scandal...It is something I plan on looking into...but seems more like one of those smoke and mirrors thing, that in the end wont really surprise me or will there be any type of retribution that is beneficial for wasting my time reading about it.

Look into Kony 2012......That is something for the TRUE independent thinker:) Something that COULD truly change the the WORLD...And is something that SHOULD be reported on at length....Bet Hannity would never even touch it.

Sorry not a Fan of Fox News.

ME ME ME, I am an open minded thinker, independent thinker too. I don't like Hannity but will watch it for this. I am a huge Breitbart fan and am very sad he is gone, he did amazing work.

I wish more people were open minded. God knows I hate Huffpo, CNN, MediaMatters, NPR, etc but I still read and watch people with completely different views than myself, even tho I shake my head in awe over the things they spew.

Haters always call Fox "opinion news", "faux news", and say they lie....to these people I say PROVE IT, give a legitimate example. All left fake media /fake journalist lie, make up stories, give half truths.

Breitbart was 100% right about Planned Parenthood, ACLU, Anthony W***** (i can't spell his full name because mamapedia will pull it for vulgar language).......all the media lefties called him a liar for days on end til the truth came out, hmmmm biased anyone

ETA: Laurie A. you are a very bright person however do you really believe that Shirley got fired over Breitbart? Do you really expect me to believe that Obama admin would fire another liberal over something that an ignorant right wing spectacle would say? Come on Obama himself called the police "stupid" for arresting a black professor, when Obama himself admitted he didn't have all the facts then needed to make himself look better so he had a "beer summit". Laurie you are brighter than that!!!!!!!!!

I just get a chuckle out of the far left thinkers calling Fox News by the term Faux News :). They must have missed the far left slant that is seen on CNN. Yes, Fox News is more right leaning than others, but no more right than CNN is left. I mean come on ladies!! But hey, if you get a kick out of using a name like that, but all means, continue.

I did not get to see it, though I would have enjoyed it I'm sure. Breitbart was a great man gone too soon.

And you can't expect to use the term independent and have those that are far left leaning believe you if you watch/read all sources. In other words, you haven't had enough Kool-Aid to be on that side so you must be a conservative.

He is famous for his edited videos!!!!
Remember his awesome racist video of Shirley Sherrod! Boy he got her good.

OOP's, except it was all a lie. He had edited that video so much, she was fired from her job.. and then after hundreds of thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of investigations.. It was found what he had posted was not at all true. She got her job back, but we as taxpayers.. were never reimbursed for all of that money and time wasted to Breitbart

Independent thinkers Or followers wishing and hoping?

Here is the overview to refresh your memory.. How can you trust this Breitbart after this> Be honest...

Shirley Sherrod: 'A Present Tense Racism.'

Andrew Breitbart was at the center of several prominent controversies in recent years, from the exposure of the Anthony Weiner scandal and his remark about "homocons" at CPAC to the destruction of ACORN through a series of heavily edited video tapes in 2009.

But none of his exposees and takedown were as controversial as the Shirley Sherrod story.

In 2010, Shirley Sherrod, an Agricultural Department employee, was videotaped telling a local NAACP group that she was initially reluctant to help a white farmer save his farm over two decades before, long before her time with the USDA. She told the crowd that she came to realize he own prejudices were holding her back. She helped the farmer to stay afloat. The lesson of the speech was one of racial healing and understanding.

Sherrod's speech, however, appeared on Breitbart's web site Big Government with only the first half available, making it seem as though the lesson of Sherrod's speech was one of blatant discrimination.

"I think the video speaks for itself," he said. "The way she's talking about white people ... is conveying a present tense racism in my opinion. But racism is in the eye of the beholder."

He also went after the audience for responding positively to her remarks.

"[This video shows] way more evidence of racism than anything that the mainstream media and TPM and all of the rest of you Spencer Ackerman friends provided to prove that the tea party was racist," he posted.

Shirley Sherrod was fired from her job as the Georgia director of rural development after the unedited but woefully incomplete footage was posted. She has since regained her position, and had planned to sue Breitbart for defamation.

Breitbart, however, saw no wrongdoing in posting the video. He felt that even with all the footage there, Sherrod's statements were proof of racism. He also refused to apologize to Sherrod for getting her fired from the USDA. "What would warrant an apology?" he told CNN. "I'm not the one that threw her under the bus."

Whomever coined the term "drinking the Kool Aid" needs to be shot. Pronto. The most overused modern day dumb phrase ever. Thanks. I'll step off my soap box now. Oh, and as for the university video? Saw it. Absolutely nothing on there to make hay about.

"Yesterday, the Breitbart empire stepped up to the plate, called their shot, swung, missed, hit themselves in the face with the bat, then took a triumphant trot around the bases as spectators looked on with piteous and mocking wonder."

Kudos to Simon Maloy for the above description of the smoking gun video handed by the Breitbart empire to Hannity to discredit Obama.

Epic fail on their part. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!!!
