They built our fence and painted and put in crown molding in our daughter's nursery. He does almost anything. At least get estimate. Not only is he reasonable, but his work is of great quality. Good luck!!

My neighbor's nephew fits the description you are looking for. We saw him building a gate for the neighbor and asked for his help afterwards. As we speak he is doing 15+ some odd jobs, which included building a sidegate. I think he's a carpenter by trade, hence he's a gate expert. But he's able to do a number of additional handyman tasks arounds the house as well. He charges $40/hour. We've had work done by cheap day laborers, and other referred handymen in the past.
