Hairstyle for Growing Out Bangs

I'm a hairstylist. She can have then trimmed at an angle for a side swept look which will be more comfortable and fashionable and will grow out nice.

You can twist them tightly or braid them back and secure with bobby pins, they should hold the bangs. The trick to pinning back bangs, is to have a little bit of wax or mouse in them so they grip when twisted. Twist them and insert the bobby pin into them, twit the bobby pin around and then go back in and insert the pin straight back into the twist.

Since her bangs are curly, she can curl them on a large barrel curling iron or flat iron to straighten them out and make them more manageable.

I am a hair stylist and a mom of a little girl that likes to grow her bangs out too! I get her bang and side area wet and french braid it from the part to the side following her hairline on each side. So it is 2 braids that almost look like a headband. If I spray them and secure them with a hair elastic they will stay at least all day if not two.

I use the barrettes that you buy that are called French barrettes, they are the only thing that will hold my hair. Goody makes some that are called stay tight or tight hold. Basically you need to "train the hair to go back, so when she washes her hair she needs to brush the growing out bangs back. You could try a little "product" to help them stay back.

check out this website and this hairstyle in particular. it's cute and my daughters hair will stay looking nice like this for a couple of days! he hair isn't burly, but i think it wouldbe cute for curly hair too. We are growing out her bangs and have been using this style since we first started growing them. she has step by step instuctions too. I would suggest using a different kind of rubber band if her hair is coming out of the ones you currently use. try going to Sally's Beauty Supply and getting the little rubber ones. They come out fairly easily and will definitely stay in. good luck.

Styling gel can help hold things in place along with the head bands, braiding and barrettes.

I know it's a bridal picture but it is the best one I can find right now... this is secured with two bobby pins and super easy to do. If you want to keep the fly away bangs out then use a texture balm when pulling the hair back into the pins and if you can starting with that hair wet does help.
