I loved The Help! I also really enjoyed the dragon tattoo series. The Emily Giffin books are great, like, Something Borrowed and Baby Proof. I love books w strong female leads! Anything by Luanne Rice as well.

I also loved The Help. I recently read 'The Art of Racing in the Rain' and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend 'The Hunger Games' Trilogy if you haven't read them. They are different, but well worth the read.

Happy reading!

I loved The Help -- a Mamapedia suggestion, but I can't say I loved The Art of Racing in the Rain. If you like reading books written by a dog, then Racing in the Rain is for you. If you're not into dog books, don't bother.

My other recent favorite was Water for Elephants. I'd try that over Racing in the Rain.
