I live in the san dimas area and are looking at preschool options. Does anyone have any recommendations. We saw a christian one, but it looked a little disorganized. Should i look past appearances, or should i offer to do a makeover on them?

What can I do next?

I live in La Verne. My son goes to Faith Day Care & Pre School in San Dimas. It is not very fancy, but my son really enjoys it there. I know the school also had high rankings last yr. You should check it out. You can go any time you want..you don't need to make an appointment. Feel free to e-mail me ____@____.com Good luck, Jennifer

My eldest has been going to The Pre-School at Claremont United Methodist Church, in Claremont. ###-###-####. He has been there for 3 very happy years and I feel that he is well prepared for kindergarden. He will attend summer school at the pre-school and then go on to public kindergarden. His younger brother will attend summer school at the pre-school and then he wiill begin his first year there in September.
It is a developmental, play based progaram that really allows kids to play and be kids. We have been very happy there. A bonus - if they are in the blue room, the youngest age, they change diapers!
Good luck!

My kids go to La Verne Parent Participation Pre-K which is not far from San Dimas. The class size is small and there is always two parents working with the teacher. The school itself is small with three classrooms (2yr, 3yr and 4yr). I'm sad to see my oldest graduate this week! You can stop by anytime for a tour. If you go tell Bianca the Roseli's sent you.

The address is 909 E Juanita Ave, La Verne

You should look past the appearence. If they ofer the needs your child needs to succeed then why be so materialistic. Looks are not everything. If it is unsafe then that is different. This may sound a bit mean of me to say but someone had to tell me in order for it to set in. They dont tell you how to do your job so dont tell them how to do theirs.

Not sure how far you want to travel. I used to live in Claremont and Claremont Presbyterian had a good program. My oldest attended Chicken Little in Claremont. My other two went to Highland Avenue Christian School (in Rancho Cucamonga) and we loved it!

Our son goes to First Baptist School in Covina (preschool & kinder). It's a great school. Accredited, and offer a great curriculum along with motor development. He's been there for 2 yrs. and loves it. Many families are from surrounding cities because this school is so good. Their prices are also very reasonable. Here's their website:

Good luck.
