Getting White Out Out of Shirt

Step 1.
Use WD 40 liberally on both sides of the stain. Allow the WD-40 to penetrate through the stain. The stain will begin to loosen. Test by touching the stain. Small flecks of the white out should begin to come loose. Rinse thoroughly.

Step 2.

Lay the clothing on a clean white towel. Sponge nail polish remover onto both sides of the stain. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat the application of nail polish remover and continue to rinse until the stain is removed. Rinse the stained area thoroughly.

Step 3.

Finally, to remove any hidden traces of the stain, apply a stain stick, spray, or gel to the stained area and wash normally.

Did you try like goof off or something like that? I would bet you havet og et a new shirt though. Can it just kind of chip off or is it a smudge?

When I worked in offices back in the 80's, white out had a clear liquid thinner that you could use to thin out the dried product. I wonder if they still have this and if it might work. I would also try Goo Gone.

I don't know how to get the white out off of the shirt I just got a kick out of the fact that you were wearing your husband's shirt. I wear my hubbys shirts alot! Ain't they comfy? Anyways... good luck with the stain.

I doubt there is much you could try thsat would not create other issues with the shirt. White out has paint in it. You could try finding out if there isds an 800 number and call the company.
