Getting "Goo" off Pants

Go to the closest auto. department (walmart, auto zone..) and buy something that is used to clean grease off hands. I call it goop but i don't know the real name. It's orange citrus and very sandy/grainy. They'll know what you need. This stuff takes off TONS of things. I use it for too many stains with the kids and my husband and it never fails to take it out. They laugh at me when it's over. Rub it in and wash it out in the sink 1st. Repeat if necessary and then laundry as usual.

Citra-Solv is good, good stuff. It is the active ingredient in Goo Gone (or similar to it) but has no toxic stuff. Rub some in, blot it off, repeat, and you may not even need to launder again. P.S. You may get recommendations for Sol-U-Mel too, but it contains a strong concentration of tea tree oil, which has been shown to have negative health effects on growing children. It will work, but if you go that route, please use with care.

I would use alittle dawn dishsoap on the spot, work it in and let soak in hot or warm water for a while. Then wash again. This has always worked for me. Good luck!

Somehow I got mystery goo on a favorite pair of pants and I tried lots of things to get it out but nothing worked. My friend gave me something called "Goo Gone" and it saved my pants. The stuff is a miracle worker. I also used it on a signed football jersey that I washed w/o taking off the adhesive sticker, and it came off as well.

Use SOL-U-MEL. It’s a mother’s dream!! It gets tough stains out of EVERYTHING! I was using it this weekend on some greasy kitchen gunk and it wipes off in one swipe…no elbow grease required!

Try WD40 it cleans up a lot including lipstick off clothing.

We had an issue with a crayon being left in a pocket getting onto a silky blanket (of course, our son's very favorite blanket).

I got online and found several people who recommended using OxyClean, and sure enough, it did the trick. I'd also tried products such as "Goo Gone".

If those don't work, try the Queen of Clean. She claims she hasn't found a stain she can't get out - she has a website, but I can't recall if you need to pay or not.

You might be able to put ice on the sticky goo and possibly even put the pants in the freezer for a day or so. Get the sticky goo frozen and see if you can pick it off............ I've done that before with gum and it worked. =0)

Soak the greasy spot in Dawn dishwashing liquid. (the original blue one) It has worked many times for me.

Goo gone. Usually in the paint department at hardware stores.
