Swimsuit Liner Left Sticky Residue

Try using some sort of goo be gone......or maybe rubbing it with a scrub sponge, the kind that has the scrubber on one side..........let it soak in really hot water too, that will loosen the sticky stuff.......

Use SOL-U-MEL. It’s a mother’s dream!! It gets tough stains out of EVERYTHING! I was using it this weekend on some greasy kitchen gunk and it wipes off in one swipe…no elbow grease required!

Maybe try peanut butter? It gets gum out like magic, so it might work on other sticky stuff, too. Or google - you'd be suprised what you;ll find - like OXY (zit cream) under a light gets pen off a dolls face. Who knew?!

WD40. Spray it on and it will get sticky stuff off of everything with just your finger nails. Then wash the bathing suite by hand to get the WD40 off and then you can wash it normally. Everyone should have a can of this stuff at home. It takes stickers that kids love to stick everywhere (but on paper) off without taking paint off of the walls or damaging your floors. It also takes price stickers off of ceramics, plastics you name it. Good luck.

Electronics grade isopropyl rubbing alcohol(91%) sold at your local Walgreens.

Soak the area with it, and rub with fingers to remove the sticky stuffs. Careful, as this also does remove some nail polishes.

Afterwards, wash in any dish soap but orange coloured(tends to stain) and warm water, then hang to dry.

Goo gone at Target. It's all natural from orange peel oil.

I know this may sound odd... but try spreading mayonaise on it and letting it sit for 10 minutes then use the edge of a credit card to scrape off the goo . I saw this solution on the Today show the other day featuring natural "earth day" cleaning solutions. Worth a shot!

Use "Goop". Worked for me with a size sticker that left the gummy residue on a pair of pants I got for my daughter.

My husband swears by goo gone. I don't know if it works on clothing, but it does work on most other surfaces.
