I live in MN and my mom lives in AZ. I want to send her some flowers for Mother's Day. Does anyone know of a good site to use? Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I went with Proflowers. Thanks for all the responses. I'll have to find out from her if they are as pretty as they look online.

My mother and mother-in-law live far away, too. What I have done is to look online (google) for a florist in a close zip code to them, then call and interview them. I get more flower power and higher quality for the money from the local florist than from the nationwide companies.

When I "interview" the florist I just ask questions about what is fresh at their shop, what they would recommend, etc. If it sounds like they care that my mom gets something special I'm likely to do business with them. If they just say "roses or carnations?" I know they are not for me.

I have used Martha Stewart Flowers. Her selection was the better out there. However, I do believe the recipient would have to arrange them .. In other words, they come boxed (you add a vase) .. I sent them to an Aunt in AZ.. I liked the idea of them NOT being arranged.. being as the weather can get quite hot in AZ and in the event they had to leave them on the doorstep, I felt the box better protected the flowers from wilting.. Check out Martha online..

Good Luck

I received flowers from 1800 Flowers twice and both times flowers died
within a day or two. I would search florist in her home town and call and
order directly from them. That always works well for me and if there is a
problem it can be handled on a local level.

Google "Florist and XYZ, AZ" (the name of the city, XYZ) and find a shop there. Then call them up and talk to the florist. I have found that this is the best way to do it.
