Hi Moms! I am a first time mom-to-be and have begun the search for a childcare/In-home childcare facility. Any suggestions? We are willing to travel to Flower Mound, Denton are as well.

What can I do next?

My DD went to Cornerstone Learning Center in Flower Mound when she was younger. We loved it and were really sad to leave when I stopped working and my daughter switched to a different preschool. The teachers were awesome. They had very low turnover and used great curriculum for the older preschoolers.

Hi L.!
I found some services that might be useful that I would like to share:

There is a free online database of childcare centers called Daycare Index (daycareindex.com). I found this site to be easy to use and helped me in choosing a good daycare, at least pointed in the right direction as they have thousands to choose from that can be narrowed to your area, by zip code. There are also free parenting articles, coupons and games!

Daycare PI (daycarepi.com) is another good resource if you live anywhere in Texas. You can go to the site, look up any daycare and order a public investigation report on it. It's pretty affordable and a great way to find out the scope of a particular center. Hope this helps!

Hi! I am a new mom also to a beautiful little 8 month old! I take her to a home daycare 3 days a week. The Teachers name is Sapna Rana. I found her on Craigs List and she has been wonderful so far. Her number is ###-###-####. You should give her a shout and see if you all would be a good fit. Thanks and Good Luck!

Countryside Montessori has an infant program that I began for my own children...my youngest is in it right now. I keep a 1 to 3 ratio and we are a school not a daycare. Most of our business comes from parent referrals and we are almost full.. We do take deposits to hold spots. Depending on when you want to start, I may have an opening. We are also state licensed , first aid and cpr trained, and such.
