Finding the Best Obgyn in Ft. Lauderdale/Boca Raton

look up Odalis Sijin....i used to work with her; she is very nice and also a great ob/gyn.

I go to Holy Cross myself....Dr Moises Lichtinger delivered all my kids....but I'm not sure he still does OB. You are correct in trusting holy Cross hospital; it is one of the best!!

The best experience ever...BOCA COMMUNITY HOSPITAL. Professional, caring, beautiful environment. The best doctor DR SILFEN, right by that hospital too. Regardless of the problem you have, at what time you need them...they will be there. 561 338 98 11. I had the most amazing treatment all through the pregnancy and through the delivery. If you call Dr Silfen or go there, tell him that T. Berezecki refered you. All the doctors have an average of 15 min for visit. The thing is that He will answer to all your questions and you will know immediately how much this guy know about his business. He is extremelly competent and puts you relaxed about your pregnancy. I felt I was in the right hands. When I arrived to the hospital, I dont know, they all respect him highly so I felt like I was in a Hotel. Call bell answered prompltly, they treated me like a queen. After delivery I had doubts about breastfeeding-they have classes!!!!!!

I have had a wonderful experience there! Everyone was very nice. Dr Arcelin was my gyn. Also saw others there while I was pregnant.

Dr. Ronald Tuttelman. He's a straight up doctor and is willing to sit and answer all your questions. His office is right next to Holy Cross and I think he has another office one day a week in Boca. He delivered my twins and was exceptional! Good luck!

I would try Dr. Ken Konsker. ###-###-#### He has 2 offices one off Glades by FAU and the other is off Clintmore. He has delivered all three of my kids and helped me through a miscarrage. I won't go anywhere else. His staff is wonderful, and I have never been rushed out of the office. He will stay and talk to you as long as you need. Also I have never had to wait very long to see him either. I also LOVE Boca Community's Maternity Ward! The nurses there are wonderful! I had the best experiance there. They really do one on one care and are there when you need them! Good luck with who ever you decide to go with! It is the most wonderful experiance in the world!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Gail Pezzullo-Burgs. Her office is off Glades & FAU. She only delivers at Boca Community Hospital. BCH has an excellent staff, very helpful, welcoming and warm!!! Good luck!

Dr. Joyner in Ft. Lauderdale. His office is right behind Holy Cross. The downside to him is that sometimes you have to wait awhile at your appointments. The upside is that he will spend as much time with you as you need. He will also be the one who delivers you as he is the only one in his practice. That was important to me. I didn't want to be stuck with whoever was on call.

Try Dr. Kenneth Konsker in Boca. The women in my family have been going to him for years. He has an office on Glades Rd. The number is ###-###-####.

Rachael Devaney is a Midwife with Women's Health in Boca. She is AMAZING. FYI - midwives do everything an OBGYN does except for c-sections. She is so kind and caring and when I came in with a list of questions (everytime)she would sit down and look me in the eye and answer me patiently. I had switched for an OBGYN that was really good, I had been with him for years, but he was very typical and would have one hand on the doorknob to leave while answering my questions. He was definitely not kind and caring. I have had five friends deliver with her and we always joke about building a shrine to her since we all loved our experience so much. We all delivered at Boca Community to. AWESOME hospital. Very mother/baby centered. The nurses are awesome and they are very respectful of your wishes. Enveryone I have ever met thatnd episiotomy rates are much, much lower with Midwives.

My doctor is Dr. Jay S. Cohen in Plantation. He delivers at Plantation Hospital because they have a level 3 NICU. He doesn't want his moms to be separated from their babies if the baby needs something.

I just had my second child and she is two weeks old. Dr. Cohen made sure that this experience was better than my last and the hospital went out of their way to do so. I had a different doctor the last time and I didn't like the way that doctor didn't tell me things he was planning.

Dr. Cohen is wonderful. At every appointment, I had a list and we would go over all my concerns. I even had a c-section and I had so much fun in the OR. Every one just put me at ease. He and his associates are wonderful. They made the birth of my daughter such a wonderful experience.

( I had another c-section because I had a c-section with my son. I am not sure whether my birth canal is too small to deliver babies and my husband and I didn't want to take any chances and wind up with another c-section any way. I took the much safer route).

Dr. Cohen and I discussed my concerns over my last delivery. I had such anxiety from it. He said that I was in better care this time; they took such good care of me and I couldn't thank him and his nurses enough.
