I've taken my kids to Animal Acres, a sanctuary for farm animals. The kids had a good time.

Pierce College sometimes has events where they have fun activities and you can see the Farm Animals.

I don't know the name of the place, but it's in Reseda, on the west side of Tampa Avenue, just south of Roscoe Blvd. (I think). The last time I was there (maybe 5 years ago) they had pony rides and there were chickens and goats, that you could wander amongst and feed. I think they had cows and bunnies to look at, also. I haven't been there in awhile, so I can't say for certain, how it is now, but I recently drove by and the place was still there.

You dont state where you live, but there is a place called Leonis Adobe in Calabasas...I'm not sure when their season starts again, but on Tuesday mornings they have this whole farm experience and it's like $2- it's AMAZING!!!! You can feed the animals, listen to live kids music, do art projects, etc. It's the valley's little secret. Google it and see when it starts again, but you have to get there early because the parking is really limited.

Chcek out Unerwood Family Farms in Moorpark, there are animals, pony rides, and it's a working farm so you can pick whatever is growing and in season.

Underwood Farms is the best place in the LA area. It is near Moorpark. I live in Hollywood and love driving my girls up there. You can pet animals and pick fresh fruit and veggies.

Enjoy!
