Farmers' Markets in San Antonio
I am looking for Farmers' Markets that carry organic produce in the North or Northwest areas of San Antonio. I live near Helotes and the closest "Health Food" store is 15 plus miles away. Please include days and times with the locations if you can.
Thank you & Blessings!

Yes, we have at least two farmers markets in the NW side of town. One is in Leon Valley on Evers Rd (@Civic Center), and the other is on Bandera Rd in the Grady's parking lot. There is another but I have not been to it. Go in the mornings for the best selection. I think there is a web site also? One is Mon&Wed and the other is ____@____.com Check it out. Enjoy. L.

G.:
The Express News ran a list of all the Farmer's Markets in our area in June. I think there is one on Bandera Road near 1604 a couple of days of the week. I participate in a CSA owned and operated by Clyde Scott. He is out of Segiun but drops in two locations in SA. I pay for a three month supply of the proceeds from his farm. If he does well, so do all the members, if not, then not so much. It's been a great experience and it has forced me to eat and cook at home.
Good Luck.

Leon Valley holds a farmer's market monthly I think. I know they have Trade and Market Days the 2nd Sat. of each month March-June and Sept-Dec. from 9:30-4:30. It's not too far---Leon Valley Community Center on 6427 Evers Road
maybe someone at these numbers can tell you about farmer's market too--###-###-#### ext. 2 or www.leonvalleytradeandmarketdays.com
I live inside 1604 near Helotes. L.
