I am looking for Fall/Harvest Festivals in San Antonio - preferably in the Stone Oak area - to take our daughter to. She is 18 months old. The church I grew up in used to do a fall festival complete with food booths and games with prizes, a hayride and so on. I would love to take her to something like this. It would be awesome if it was an indoor event. Do you know of any in the area?

What can I do next?

I have not been to it, but this year we are going to the Church in Stone Oak. They can dress up and come hungry because everything is free. There will be games, inflatables, food, bands and of course, tons of candy! It is from 6-9pm on October 31st. http://tcaso.org/index.php?nid=17793&s=ev&event_i...

The Maize Maze in Hondo is fun. There's a hayride, food, maze, fun games, face painting. We did it last year and it was worth the drive.

Buckner Fanning Christian School is hosting a Fall Festival on October 24th. The wrist bands are $5 a person and allow access to all rides, etc. Each grade level is sponsoring a fun booth/activity. The school is in the Stone Oak area! To get there, take Stone Oak parkway to the intersection of Stone Oak / Evans Road/Golf Canyon. Turn onto Golf Canyon and follow past Champions Run subdivision. The school is on the left side just before Wilderness Oak.

Also, Harvest Fellowship church (located on the access road of 1604 between Stone Oak and Hwy. 281) is hosting KidBlitz! On October 31st. It's free to the public. KidsBlitz is a nation wide, high energy, family fun type of event! (Call the church for more info: ###-###-#### or go to www.harvestfellowship.org)

Have fun!
Blessings,
M. Schultze

THIS SAT !!!
San Antonio Academy FALL FAMILY FAIR - see link for invite.
It is downtown not far from San Antonio College off French and Main. It has tons of events like face painting- cake walk- jumpy- lots of food/ drinks. There are indoor in the gym activities - (like 3 or 4) for the toddler ages. Fishing n cake walk- but most takes place around the fron of the Academy campus. Kids will be dressed up- I think they have a contest. ENJOY! We will be there- it is our 3rd year and we don't even had a kid in school there! :-)
