I know those two things dont exactly go together, but I wanted to get some opinions on both. I recently had my second child and am in the process of deciding whether to go back on the depo shot or to just go ahead with something permanent. Has anyone had the essure procedure done?
Also, since I have just had a baby, I am looking for a good lubricant. I have seen the commercials for yours and mine. Does anyone have a comment on that?

After I had my second child (who is 7 months old) I had the Mirena IUD inserted. So far so good. It lasts 5 years and it is not permanent so if you change your mind and want to have another child you can have it removed at any time. I have not noticed any side effects from it. There is another IUD on the market that lasts 10 years. I would ask your doctor about all options.
Hey J., I don't know anything about the Essure procedure, although I find myself in the same boat (Just had 2nd child a year ago and thinking about getting my tubes tied, I went back to Depo for now).
I do want to tell you about a lube I use. It's called Astroglide. It's at Walmart. It's a water-based lube. After having kids, I tried the KY but b/c I tore and had to be stitched up during delivery, the petroleum-based KY stung like crazy! Just thought I'd let you know. I think it's a little cheaper too. Hope this helps. :)
For lube use Astroglide. I had major problems with sex after the birth of my first. Astroglide is a miracle!! I have tried different KY products and have not liked a single one of them.
