Hello moms! We are expecting baby #2 on Jan. 3 and are looking to get a double stroller. We have a son who turned 2 on Aug. 18, so he will be about 2 1/2 when the new baby comes. We are looking for a stroller that is tandum. Please tell me your experience with double strollers, good and bad! I have been looking around, but there are so many choices. I just want to make a more informed decision before spending the money on something we aren't happy with! :) Please let me know if you have one you love or one that you hate and I shouldn't consider! Thanks in advance!

As a mom to twins I just wanted to tell you that tandem strollers are a huge pain. They are so hard to push. I got a peg perego side by side that only weighs 17 pounds and my buggest regret is that I didn't buy it before I bought my original stroller, a giant eddie bauer moistrosity.
Good luck with the hunt!

I actually really liked my Safety First double stroller! It was a tandem stroller and we bought it because we liked the fact that the front seat could turn around. It was a little on the bulky side and weighed more than a regular double stroller, but it never really bothered me. I found that it bailed me out on numerous occasions, as my toddler could still sleep in the back, while the baby was in her infant carrier in the front. I loved that the infant carrier could go in the front or back and that the cup holder was not connected to the sun shade, like the Graco stroller. I used a Graco double stroller for awhile and hated that I would knock my cup over everytime I tried to check on the baby. I sold my stroller over a year ago to some friends and they love the stroller as well. It was definitely worth the money!

I don't have a tandem stroller, but I have the Baby Trend Sit & Stand stroller~ I LOVE IT! The girls can face eachother (even when they are older), one can sit on the back facing me or stand up.....lots of different choices. It is somewhat long with the infant carrier attached, but still easier to manuever.
Good luck and Congrats!
