Try Googling "dairy" and the name of the town you live in. If you don't get anything, then try the name of the largest town near to you. You should get some good results. You could also Google a restaurant food supplier in your area. Last, but not least, you could contact your school district to find out where they get their dairy products from and then go from there.
Believe it or not sometimes places like 7-11 and mini Marts carry single serving milk cartons. Trader Joes also carries shelf-stable (no refrigeration needed) milk in single serving cartons - Regular or chocolate milk. There are a couple other brands of no refrigeration milk at Safeway and Whole Foods.
The Organic Valley brand sells individual boxes and I think another organic brand may too... I buy them in cases from my local health food store.
I bought two crates from the school. I also found out I can go to the supplier, but then I have to return the plastic crates. I did not get a discount, but they made awesome gingerbread houses.
I know the older costco in hayward, it's more business items used to sell the individual milk cartons. I'm not sure if they still do, it's been a while since I was last there. check it out
