Aside from being good in his/her practice, I want a pediatrician who is warmhearted, caring and sensitive to sensitive and nervous kids? I would love to hear your recommendations. Thanks!

Hi C.,

Dr. Sleeper at Garden City Pediatrics in Beverly is terrific! He makes you feel like your kids are his only patients. The nurses are great, they have weekend hours, they are right next to one of the top hospitals in the country. Dr. Sleeper was also very accommodating with my desire to modify the vaccination schedule.

Good luck!

George Hom is my daughters pediatrician at South suburban pediatrics in Quincy. He's wonderful, caring, and soft spoken. My two year old loves him! He's very realistic and listens well. Can't say enough good things about him!

Not sure where you are located, but Dr. Eric Sleeper in Beverly MA is wonderful! He is within the Garden City Pediatrics group. All the nurses have been just as nice too.

I use Dr. Tetiana Pronchick from Pediatrics at Newton-Wellesley. She is wonderful-she is not too loud and always has a smile on. She is great at acknowledging my concerns without being crazy about worrying over every little thing. Both my 3 yr boy and 15 mos old girl are very happy with her. I was just starting the process of interviewing peds when my son came 7 weeks early. She came to me in the hospital while my son was in the special care nursery so I could interview her. I've also had to use 2 of the other Dr.'s when she wasn't there and they were both great too.
And it's convient to have the hospital right there-2 months ago my daughter got RSV and after checking her and seeing her pulse-ox was low and didn't respond to a nebulizer treatment they did there-the receptionist helped me carry all my stuff and 2 kids over to the hospital to get right in.

I have also heard of Garden City Pediatrics. Coworkers and church friends use their practice. They all tell me all the doctors their are great with the children.
I lived in Boston and chose Pediatric Associates of Medford and I still use them even though I moved north. I feel the are great with my 2 yr old and are cohesive.
I don't often have to see my pediatricians partners, but when I do, they don't need a rundown of my daughters medical history.
I hope you find the doctor who is right for your family.
