Doctor(s) You Love in Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto Area

I love my OB/GYN, but I also found her on Yelp! Her name is Dr. Azad. I'm still pregnant with my first, so I can't say yet about a pediatrician. But Dr. Azad sent me to a primary named Dr. Yaskin, she's also wonderful. I like that they are both in solo-practice, they're the ones that answer my phone calls, they always remember me. They're both these young women but just like old-fashioned doctors who you think really care about you. I love them both! You can find Dr. Azad at www.doctorazad.com. Palo Alto Medical Foundation is fantastic. Love the doctors (they are all good). The facility is first rate and they have pediatric urgent care available late at night and on the weekends. Always get us in within a half hour if we need it. Also, they have all the testing facilities right there. My little guy was in NICU at Lucille Packard for 3 weeks so we had lots of follow up and tests. They were even good at drawing blood from babies which hopefully you won't need. Can't say enough good things about them.

Dr Karen Shin was my ObGyn when I was pregnant with my baby (now 15 months old) - I really liked her as she is easy to talk to and she seems very honest in her recommendations.

Dr. Erica Weirich is my daughter's pediatrician (she is a family doctor) as well as my doctor. I love her - she is very relaxed and "down to earth" and not as "text book controlled" as many other doctors I have seen. Qualities I really like especially during my pregnancy when there were so many rules of what to do and what not to do. She was very good at bringing these to does and not to does down to a level where a regular person could still follow them.

Both doctors are with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. They are located on 370 Distel Cir in Los Altos (very close to the corner of Rengstorff Ave and El Camino Real in Mt View). Like most of the other PAMF offices, this one also onsite lab and x-ray so you do not have to go somewhere else to get that done.

Welcome to the area! I absolutely love our pediatrician - Dr E. Copeland with Palo Alto Medical Foundation. She works out of the West Valley office in Cupertino. She is young (maybe 35), very easy to talk to, makes you feel at ease, very practical, and is the mom of 2 young kids so she can relate to what you're going through, your questions etc. I too am looking for a new OB/GYN, so I can't do much for you on that front....but I will check out the responses. I second the recommendation of the OB's at the Los Altos PAMF Clinic, and also there is a fab family practice/GYN doc named Jocelyn Floyd - I have been going to her for about 10 years now and she always makes me feel like her only patient! Their main line is ###-###-####.

Lynn Gretkowski is with Palo Alto Medical Foundation. She's OBGYN.

Our pediatrician is Juan Garona of Palo Alto Med Found as well. They're both in the buildign in Mountain View on El Camino. I like the whole set up and it's convenient to have all the medical stuff happening at one place. They also have an Urgent Care place attached to the building, and you can make weekend pediatric appts. I really like Dr. Garona for the kids!!
