I don't know about The Little Red School House but I had my son at El Sass Acadamy. It was a little more than some of the other daycares but after going on a tour and speaking with them it was totally worth it. My son was there for 2 years before he started school and it really helped to advance him when he started school. They are set up like a regular school where they have art, pe, gymnastics, homeroom and even lunch time is set up in a cafeteria setting. During the summer they also teach them how to swim, there is a pool onsite. I had looked at several daycares and preks for my son and was blown away with what he would get from El Sass. My son was at the one off of Beecaves but I know they have other locations. When you move here definitely go on a tour of a few places and ask a lot of questions. One thing I found was if you go into a room when it is during a class time and it's loud then you should not put your child there. Before I moved my son to El Sass he was in a daycare that was like that and had a nice monthly price but after some time started finding out things that didn't make me happy at all and immediately pulled my son out and had to look for another daycare. I hope you get several great suggestions and have many to choose from that will work best for you and your daughter.

I used to live in that area and it is a not a great place for a child. Crime rates are escalating and it is located behind run down convenience store that has shady looking people that hang around outside of it. I would not put my child there.

I was looking for daycare for my son and drove by it. I was so unimpressed with how the place looks I didn't even go in. I can't say anything about the school itself though. Have to be careful, sometimes you get what you pay for. My son goes to West Gate Child Development Center on West Gate Blvd right now. It is a little pricey but they do a great job with him and he loves all the teachers.

My children attended Little Red Schoolhouse when they were younger. I ended up having to make special arrangements to work from home to care for my asthmatic son when we discovered that he was not being given all of his nebulizer treatments and we were not informed that the treatments were not being given. We were, in fact led to believe that all of his treatments were being administered as per the doctor's schedule right up until he landed in the hospital. At that time, his teacher informed me that the director had told her not to give the treatments scheduled for certain times because "they were too busy and it interfered with their schedule".
