Digital Camera?

We got a Casio Exilim over 2 years ago. It was around $200. It is small, lightweight and simple to use but takes great pix. We love it. It fits nicely in the purse, diaper bag or even a deep pocket. Target carries them. There are several models with varying options but I would suggest you stick with the more basic model for now. You can take the memory card to Costco or Target or any of several other places to get prints made or you can upload them to online places like Snapfish.com or Walgreens.com to get prints made. These are also great places to share photos with family and friends who live far away. They can enjoy your pictures and then order prints of the ones they want. Costco has the best price on prints around here. I wouldn't bother getting a printer just to print photos. It costs twice as much to print at home and that's if EVERY print comes out right, which is pretty rare. Good luck in your search! N.

i really must tell you that you get what you pay for when it comes to tech gadgets. my husband is a techie and we've run through the gamet of different kinds of gadgets ...and discovered that you get what you pay for. The key is just go ahead and purchase the absolute most you can spend (budget wise) because it's worth the investment. Tech gadgets become obsolete so quickly (like computers) that you really need to buy the most up-to-date piece right now...so it can last you at least 2 yrs before you hate it and want to upgrade.

So that said...i absolutely LOVE my Nikon CoolPix S7c camera. It is very thin, light-weight and has a HUGE display window on the back. 7.1 megapixels [image resolution to take crisp clear quality photos - "suitable for framing" :-)], 3x zoom. And you don't need batteries...it charges through a power adapter (like a cellphone). And there's no delay when taking a picture...my biggest pet peeve when you're a mom and you only have a split second to capture "the moment" and then your baby/child is off doing something else. It has a powerful zoom lens as well.

We received our camera as a gift, which was nice since it saved us all the research and stress! Anyway, we've had it almost 2 years and are very happy with it. It's a Kodak Easy Share. Just a basic camera with some zoom capability. We did get an additional memory stick. We take tons of pictures and load them up to Shutterfly online and order from there. We also got the printer so we can print at home if we like, but we don't use that very often. Good luck...

I've actually studied photography a little bit and Kodak is not the way to go. I myself have a Nikon S9 and I love it. The screen is large so I can see clearly and it takes great pictures. I also recommend the Sony Cybershot. Both of these cameras also make short movies. If you're looking for photographer quality, Minolta is a great brand, but usually very expensive. Make sure that whichever camera you do choose is at least 6 megapixels. The more megapixels, the better quality the picture.

i have a kodak digital camera and i love it. it is great for taking pictures and stuff. U will not regret spending ur money on it because it is great.
