Diaper Stackers?

I'm with Kathy B. I love mine and hang it on the end of his bed. Mine also came with my bedding but it can fit a package and a half. It's a Just Born brand. But I do like the basket idea. I Think I might try that since my 6 month old is now in size 4 and they are a snug fit in the stacker. And I change him on the floor so I could just keep it under the crib. . . hmmm. Now to find a cute basket!!

Waste of money, in my opinion. Just keep the diapers somewhere handy.

Waste of money. If you use a dresser as a changing surface, keep diapers in the top drawer. I also kept a basket in the living room of our old house (smaller house) with diapers and wipes, and in our current house, I kept a kitchen drawer free for diapers/wipes/changing pad for our downstairs time.

I had a diaper stacker and loved it. Mine was a homemade gift I received at my baby shower.

A basket (wooden or plastic) also works very well. A plastic one in the baby's room is great and after the baby is out of diapers you can use it to store books or toys.

LOVED LOVED LOVED mine. I changed on the floor. Never had any type of changing table due to lack of room. I hung it on the end of his bed or closet door. It was great. I don't remember the brand--whatever came with my bedding style.

Love mine! I live in a small apartment with limited floor, drawer, shelf, etc. space so the diaper stacker is a great way to keep diapers handy, organized and out of the way. Mine holds a full pack of diapers; I guess some of them are bigger than others. I can't find a brand name on it, sorry, but I probably got it online from Amazon or Target.

I have a diaper stacker that came with our bedding set and I'm not a fan. It doesn't hold a full "sleeve" of diapers and the diapers don't stay put in there. I prefer to use a large basket for diapers-they hold a ton, are easy to access, don't spill diapers like stackers do and are portable. I got mine at Michael's on sale for a really great price. My bedding set came with a diaper stacker. I buy diapers at Costco and routinely put 40 to 50 size 4 diapers in it. It has been wonderful for keeping the diapers contained. I think the choice of diaper container really depends upon the setup of your home. Initially, I had a shelf running along one wall that had scroll type shelf braces. These made it very easy to hang all of the supplies I needed for diapering and everything else. I later had to change the setup of the room because my son could reach the curtains near his crib. I have since hung the diaper stacker on the curtain rod. It is definitely convenient, but without the curtain rod, I would have nowhere else to hang the diaper stacker. Several people have mentioned using the basket on the changing table. I had considered this at one point, but know now that it would have been a challenge with my son. He loves to grab anything within his reach, so keeping things on the changing table or even on the shelf next to his changing table, can result in a wrestling match! Personally, I like my diaper stacker, but with small and limited space, you should really consider where and how you would hang it, and whether you might benefit instead from either a table top basket or even using a drawer of a dresser. I had a little bookshelf ...maybe even smaller than that and put it on top of the dresser and stored/stacked all the diapers and wipes on that. Then I could see how much we had at all times and I knew when I needed to buy more.

personally I think they are a waist of space and money. I also had 2 kids in diapers and each had their own basket with diapers and wipes. That way when we got out of diapers then basket could be resued for toys, shoes, books, etc...

I bought a cheap plastic dresser.. (clear plastic 3 drawers $20) and used that downstairs to store diapers wipes creams..

it really helped me.. now they are out of diapers.. and we use it for other kid stuff but it is still funcitonal..
