First of all god bless all you mom's out there and thank you for all of your help.
My problem ,in addition to everything else. I'm a single mom with low income and I work 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm 3 days a week and go to school twice a week. I don't know what to do about daycare for my 3yr old. The daycare 3yr old goes to now will cost me about $160.00 a week when school for me starts this month(making it hard to survive).Finding it very hard to find a good and reasonable place for my child with the shift I work. Feeling overwhelmed just thinking about it. I'm in the Arlington area. I want a place where I don't have to worry about what's happening with my child since I'm away so much. Would quit school but it's my only ticket to a better life for us. Help........ thanks everyone

What can I do next?

There are several programs that you may qualify for due to you being a single mom. Also, a few Charter Schools around DFW have PreK-3 programs. There is a daycare link on the Texas Workforce Commission website and you should also check the Texas Department of Health and Human Services website.

I know that there are government programs that help single moms with lower income for daycare.Im not sure exactly what the program is called but my friend is in it and she only pays $38 a week. If i were you I'd call around. Good luck, sorry not much help.

I am trying to start up a daycare so that i don't have to pay so much at daycare also. If you are interested in bringing your baby to Euless, i would be more than happy to watch them. If not, I am currently on CCMS waiting list, which is a govt. program. The number is ###-###-####. You can call them and they will tell you what to do. However, i have been on the list for 8 months. Not to discourage you, but to get you to hurry up and call.
Good luck!
