Dentists - Keller,TX

Is anyone familiar with Monarch Dentistry? I know they have offices all over the area. Also, has anyone been to Oasis Dental in Keller? We have new insurance that is very limited in dentists that we can use. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I had a good experience at Monarch in Irving on Belt Line. They were very friendly.

I am a dental hygienist and I would not recommend any sort of dental "chain" such as Monarch. I don't know anything about the Dr.'s at Oasis but one of my classmates from dental hygiene school works there.

J.,
I have been on both ends of the spectrum with Monarch. As a patient I didn't like it becasue they are very busy and when my 13 year old had to have a tooth pulled they would not let me go back with her even though she was terrified. It was a nightmare. They basically run people through like cattle. I also worked for a group of oral surgeons and if you have to have anything done that Monarch can't do they are horrible at getting the paperwork (i.e. referrals) done and done correctly because they don't like losing the business. Unfortunately for the people who have DMO insurance they are the main dentist office available. If you have any other options then I would suggest trying those first. Good luck.

If I were you, I would avoid Monarch Dental. We have Aetna Dental Insurance (which is awful, too), and Monarch is one of their primary dental providers. We went to Monarch twice and they were horrible. Also, their office staff is rude and unhelpful. The worst I've ever experienced. We went to the one on Rufe Snow and 820.

Hope this helps.

I would only go to monarch for a cleaning. We used to have to go there also due to crappy insurance and had some bad experiences. I wouldn't have any work done. Even if you have to drive far to go to a dentist, do it over Monarch.

I do not recommend Monarch because they use students to do major work. I had a root canal done and when I went to my new dentist at 6 Day Dental, they told me I would eventually have to have that crown replaced because there is a gap close to the gum line.

In addition, my other crown I had there has already cracked. I was not impressed by the lack of knowledge of sensitive teeth by the person that was removing my temporary.
